GFF Paper Mill is located in the town of Nikopol, on the banks of the Danube River, in northern Bulgaria, and occupies an area of 273,000 square meters. The factory was originally a cardboard manufacturer. It was acquired by US entrepreneur George Freij and converted to tissue production in 2010. Total production capacity for tissue and paper product is 40,000 tons per year PM1, flat wire, wide machine format 4500mm and stock preparation are manufactured by VOITH with production capacity of 20,000 tpy.PM2 , crescent former, format 2800 mm manufactured by RECARD with production capacity of 20,000 tpy. Processing and adapting for tissue production was done by experienced GFF engineers.
