To ensure exceptional quality in our products, we process the highest quality raw materials, most of which originate from our own crop fields located in the Rose and Thracian Valley region of Bulgaria, well-known for its unique terroir. Galen-N Ltd. was established in 2001. In 2006, we acquired the historically significant national heritage production site and assets, all located in the village of Zelenikovo, near the town of Brezovo. This acquisition made us the successor of a long-standing tradition and expertise in the distillation and production of 100% pure and natural Bulgarian essential oils, particularly the world-famous Bulgarian Rosa Damascena Otto essential oil.
Galen-N Ltd. was founded in 2001, and within five years, we became the successor to a long-standing tradition and expertise in the distillation of 100% pure and natural Bulgarian essential oils, particularly the world-famous Bulgarian Rosa Damascena Otto essential oil. The heritage and historically significant production assets we acquired in 2006 are all located in the village of Zelenikovo, near the town of Brezovo.
These assets include the Shipkov Distillery, one of the oldest in Bulgaria, founded in 1908 and now declared a national patrimony. It is equipped with unique copper distillation units from the French company Tournaire, dating back to 1899.
Additionally, we acquired the largest Bulgarian distillery and natural plant extraction site, “BULPHYTOOILS,” inaugurated in 1958, more than 65 years ago.
We are upholding the traditions of essential oil production by making significant investments in modern GMP-certified production facilities, a new organic distillery, state-of-the-art laboratories, innovative plant extraction production lines, a highly qualified professional team, and consistently high production standards.
