60 years of continuous development. Оur story begins in 1962, when the distillery for essential oils was founded in the city of Shumen. In the 80s, the first cosmetic lines were introduced and Lavena’s products quickly found their customers making the company an important manufacturer and exporter of cosmetics. Our leading role in the cosmetic market in Bulgaria is due to the provision of uncompromising quality and its transfer to various product series. We are proud of our multi-profile production, covering over 12 types of product groups, including: creams, oils, shampoos, soaps, toothpastes, cosmetic waters and sprays, gels, detergents, wet towels and others. We integrated a quality management system in accordance with ISO, GMP and HACCP.
We comply with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in the production of cosmetics and essential oils, according to ISO 22716:2007 and HACCP in the production of nutritional supplements. Lavena is one of the largest cosmetic companies in Bulgaria. However, we never stop developing. To continue to drive growth, in 2020 we built a new factory for the production of wet towels. We have doubled our warehouse and modernized our production lines and quality control laboratory. Lavena’s portfolio consists of own brands and product developments with uncompromising quality. Our approach is lead by our RnD department which carries each project through continuous research on consumer needs and innovation in ingredients. This attitude continually opens up new opportunities to improve the lives of our customers.
