We are Betty and Niki Vasilievi. Today we are happy owners of a farm with over 1600 animals and the first in Bulgaria producers of real, organic beef. But our story began far more modestly than 25 years ago. It was then, in 1994, that we chose a rural life, close to nature, where the food is home-made and prepared with authentic products, the beauty is all around us, and the air is fresh and clean. We lived in Niki’s native house, which we called the “Wild Farm”, with a dozen sheep and goats, inherited from his grandmother. And we quickly realized that in addition to being infinitely idyllic, this everyday life is full of some troubles and difficulties. We sold our apartment in Plovdiv to buy our first 16 cows, and in the same year half of them died.
This did not stop us from our dream – this house became the home of our four children, for whom organic food is not a luxury but a norm. That is why we believed that we could provide real meat at affordable prices not only for us, but also for many other people. Today we are already working on our dream come true, we have the first organic slaughterhouse in Bulgaria and the first processing workshop for organic beef, which is located in the village of Gorno Pole in the Eastern Rhodopes.

Everyone is welcome at the Wild Farm. It is not the generally accepted “guest house”, but an open home for all friends – old and new, seeking freedom, the call of the wild and the color of life. The house has double and triple rooms with private bathroom with a total of 15 beds and a large green yard, saturated with the smell of hay, fresh grass and lots of flowers. In addition to accommodation, we offer great adventures in the area of the “Wild Farm” – wild bird watching, horseback riding, gold mining by the ancient method, a tour of minerals, searching for wild bees, kayaking – the opportunities for experiences in the Rhodopes are endless.
